Greetings!
The days are flying by. God is at work in us. He continues
to show us his strength and our need.
Yesterday our group was in three classrooms. We sang, gave
testimonies, performed skits, and told stories.
Pray for this seed.
Some of us met with teachers last night for a devotion and
discussion. This was the second night of this activity and
it is very exciting. We see a group of believers from
various church backgrounds who are enjoying fellowship in
this small group environment.
Pray that after we leave they would continue to meet
together.
Today we meet with a couple of classes, third grade and
middle school. The same is the case for tomorrow.
Pray that we will finish strong. Pray we get the rest we
need even if it isn't the rest we want.
Thank you for your prayers.

Greetings from Beius.
We are all
well. Most of us are still weary, but I expect that won't
change until we return home. It is good to see God work
through our weakness.
Laurel is
still waiting for her bags, hopefully tomorrow. It has been
difficult for her. Pray that the bags show up as promised.
Yesterday
we worked at the orphanage. There are 24 children there
now. They are going to move 12 of the children into foster
homes for the winter and the remaining 12 they are moving
into the front of the orphanage to reduce costs. We helped
with the preparations hauling shelves, clothes and other
miscellaneous supplies. We also did some painting.
Today we
were in Catrina's second grade classroom. It was a great
visit. We will see these kids a couple more times this week
hopefully.
Tonight we
are meeting with approximately 20 teachers from local
schools. We had planned for around 10, so this is a
wonderful development. Pray for our time, that Christ will
be the focus and that many conversations and lasting
relationships will come out of this evening.
Thank you
for your prayers.

Monday,
September 26
Praise God for his provision! We have arrived. It
was a very long trip, but uneventful. We had no
difficulties making connections and everyone
traveled well. Laurel's bags did not arrive in
Budapest. The airline said we will have them
Monday. Laurel had clothes for two extra days in
her carry-on. So far so good.
Today we
worshiped in a small village church that we have
visited in the past. It was great to see and
worship with old friends even if we cannot
completely understand them. The rest of our day was
spent resting, preparing and reorienting ourselves
with Beius. We spent a couple of hours at the
orphanage as well.
We are
planning to work at the orphanage tomorrow, and
hopefully visit a school in the afternoon. Also,
our Tuesday evening plans to meet and minister to
teachers is growing. We found out that our original
list of several women has grown to include several
men. Pray that we will know tomorrow how to prepare
for this opportunity.
We are
all feeling well and anticipating a full night sleep
and an even fuller day tomorrow. Thank you for your
prayers.
We see
that He has gone before us!
